The meeting aims to foster dialogue among private-sector representatives, NGOs, and government bodies of Uzbekistan to develop cooperation strategies, including promoting dialogue between European environmental companies, NGOs, and Uzbek government agencies. Objectives include initiating bilateral initiatives for experience exchange in environmental protection and climate change mitigation, reviewing legislative proposals on environmental protection and climate change to create a supportive legal framework for green initiatives and industries, assessing needs and opportunities for Uzbekistan's environmental monitoring, waste management, and green technology infrastructure, and collaborating on environmental education, public awareness campaigns, and sustainability training.
