Within the framework of the EUROUZ Healthcare and Life Sciences roundatble, the moderated discussion will focus on the pharmaceutical sector and healthcare in Uzbekistan, addressing drug registration and certification, establishing a pharmacovigilance system, deregulating drug prices, and intellectual property issues. It will also explore exemptions for European drug manufacturers from Uzbekistan state inspections, the development of health insurance, and potential life sciences collaborations between the committee and Uzbekistan's Ministry of Health.

* Possibility of expanding the list of European countries whose manufacturers are exempt from undergoing pharmaceutical inspections by Uzbekistan authorities for medicine registration.

* Issues related to the registration and certification of medicines and medical devices.

* Current status and future prospects of development of the universal healthcare insurance system.

* Formation of the drug provision system - health technology assessment and formation of the essential drug lists and orphan drug lists.

* Funding of healthcare and payment for medical services. Formation of the state programs on various nozologies.

* Evolution of the drug purchase system and possibility of introduction of the co-payment system for medicines at the level of the pharmacies.
